The diagonal dilemma

On two faces of a cube a diagonal is drawn that meet in the same vertex. What’s the angle between them?

Scroll down for a solution to this problem.

Solution

The angle is 60°.

Draw the diagonal connecting the non-common vertices as shown. Since all three diagonals have equal length, they form an equilateral triangle, of which all three angles are 60°.
