The golf ball

A circle and a triangle with two sides tangent to the circle and a side connecting the tangency points. The line segment of the circle centre to the triangle apex is shown. Prove that α = β.

Can be thrown in the air
And fly, fly out of sight
The ball is like a bird
His face often smiles
Even in a hole
His life is not funny at all
Cause he is getting hit with
Swings and turns
