my intention was to combine Brahmagupta’s formula for the area of a cyclic quadrilateral with Ptolemy’s Theorem to calculate the product of the crossings in terms of the sides, then use the formula for the area of a quadrilateral in terms of the cross-diagonal product and the sine of the angle between the diagonals.
Alpha is 120 degree.
